SEND and Inclusion
Ashbourne Primary is a fully inclusive school, that offers personalised provision to support a range of children with special educational needs and disabilities. Children are recognised as individuals and we tailor our provision according to a pupil’s ability and development needs. We collaborate closely as a staff team, with parents and external providers to ensure pupils reach their full potential.
We aim to: NUTURE ASPIRATION THROUGH HAPPY, CREATIVE LEARNING
We are committed to identifying and providing for the needs of all children enabling them to experience success and challenge, whilst acquiring the school’s PRAISE aims of: Perseverance, Respect, Attention, Independence, Self-motivation and Explaining their learning.
Please read our SEN policy and SEN information report to find out more about what we offer.
Our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) is Heather Davis and our Assistant SENCO is Beth Archer. Our SEN Governor is Louise Yeomans
