Sports Provision

At Ashbourne Primary we aim to provide enriched sporting provision, both through excellent PE teaching and through sporting opportunities in conjunction with the Rural Derbyshire School Sport Partnership and the Primary School Sport Development offer from Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Ashbourne.

In addition to curriculum PE and sporting competitions, we offer a comprehensive range of extra-curricular clubs in association with local providers, giving our eager pupils the chance to sample lesser known sports to compliment more traditional games.

Alongside these external providers we have nurtured positive relationship links with sports clubs in the Ashbourne locality and aim to develop these links further.
