Throughout the year, the children are encouraged to lead lunch time clubs under the supervision of staff members. A list of these clubs is detailed below. We recommend that children show independence to sign themselves up. This gives our older pupils the opportunity to experience leadership and planning while our younger pupils can identify with the leaders as role models.

Our after school sport club partner this year will be Progressive Sports as well as local community sports clubs. Club letters are available to download below.

As the year develops, school staff will announce that they will be running a club to run for a half-term or longer. The themes of these can vary. Take a look at the pictures below to see what the children have sampled in past years.

School Clubs 2023-24

Autumn Term

Choir – Mrs. Fellows will be sharing a love of singing with the school as she restarts the school choir this year. Children will be notified of this during the term and will sign themselves up for this club. Mrs. Fellows is a trained music teacher with years of experience. In past years, the choir has performed carols for Christmas at local care homes and also to the school community at fairs and celebrations.

Rock Steady – Rock Steady return for another year offering a musical experience through the medium of rock band instruments. They visit us every Thursday afternoon. Please ask at the school office for details.

Running Club returns for another successive year led by Mr. Clark and Miss Archer. 

Year 5/6 Tag Rugby–  with Mr Murphy at lunchtime every Tuesday (Autumn 1)

Year 5/6 basketball – with Mr Murphy at lunchtime every Tuesday (Autumn 2)

Mega Sports - This is held after school for Reception and KS1 and is run by Progressive Sports.
