Ashbourne Primary has adopted a tiered approach to remote learning:
- Individual children self isolating
- Bubble closure
- Whole school closure
- Individual children self isolating
A work pack will be provided via Class Dojo or a printed copy. The focus of this work is in line with the content being covered by their peers at school. Reading books will also be provided. The class teacher will contact the family to check in with the child regarding their learning. This will be done by phone or Microsoft Teams.
- Bubble closure
We will provide at least 3 live lessons per day and a home learning time table will be communicated to parents. We will set assignments/activities so that pupils have meaningful and ambitious work each day in a number of different subjects. This will all be done via Microsoft Teams. Links to other videos and resources will be used. If the class teacher is ill, every effort will be made for another member of staff to undertake the live lessons.
- Whole school closure
A whole school timetable will be provided to enable siblings sharing a device to access live lessons. We will provide at least 2 compulsory live lessons per day. We will set assignments/activities so that pupils have meaningful and ambitious work each day in a number of different subjects. This will all be done via Microsoft Teams. Links to other videos and resources will be used.
