The focus over the next 2 weeks in Maths is telling the time. We would like you to spend 30 minutes each day on this.
The week can be structured as follows:
Monday – Spend some time practising telling the time on an analogue clock. This will give you a starting point for Wednesday. Please see the document below for a step by step.
Tuesday – Converting between the 12 and 24 hour clock. Please work through the document below.
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – The next 3 days, as well as next week, will depend on where you are with telling the time. If you are confident, you will be working on time problems. Below you will find step by step guides as well as task sheets. It is ok to spend more than one day on each area, you can spend the whole week on the nearest five minutes past if that is what is needed. Use either an analogue clock in your house or the website from Monday for lots of practical practise!
