Literacy: Today we are going to start planning our own Greek myths, ready to write next week. Have a look at the PowerPoint or the planning sheet with instructions to help you. You don’t have to follow it exactly – it’s just a guide. We’ve attached some beasts and heroes/heroines to choose from too or you can create your own! There’s a blank planning sheet too if you want to use it!

Reading: Today’s Greek myth is the story of Orpheus and Eurydice (pronounced (aw/fee/us  and yuh/rid/i/see) It’s another long read so no questions but make sure you read aloud with an adult to check you have understood!

Maths: This week we will be learning about 3D shapes. Start by watching the video about 3D shapes on the link below. When you have done that, learn the names of the 3D shapes on the worksheet. Your task for today is to be able to name all 3D shapes off by heart. Test yourself by covering up the names to see if you can remember!
